Edguy's new album AGE OF THE JOKER conquers the hearts of fans, nation by nation. Having reached position #3 in the album charts of Europe's biggest music market, Germany, Edguy's crusade is now ploughing its way up to the North:  In Finland the album has entered the album charts at #15 which marks the highest entry for Edguy in the Finish charts ever. We have just received some more first week chart positions for the new album AGE OF THE JOKER. In the German album charts the album has rocketed from zero straight to number three, but also in the Czech Republic the album has reached the official album top ten charts.  Additionally, in the UK Rock charts AGE OF THE JOKER went in at #14, and in the official Swiss charts it reached at #13. On Thursday, 10:00PM CET Tobias Sammet is guest on the German radio show Tuff Stuff on radio Rockantenne (rockantenne.de). Show host Thomas Moser will conduct an interview with Tobias about the new Edguy album AGE OF THE JOKER and the forthcoming tour. The show will be rebroadcast on Saturday, 3rd at 11:00PM!

After several arena tours and stadium appearances with bands such as the Scorpions, Aerosmith, Iron Maiden and Ozzy Osbourne in the recent years, Edguy are finally hitting the road on their own again, bringing their own big stage production. The tour in support of their new album AGE OF THE JOKER will kick off in Sweden on the 23rd of September. Sad news for all fans in Zlin, CZ who haven't got their ticket yet - the show is now absolutely sold out and tickets will not be available at the door! If you wanna catch a show in the Czech Republic tickets are still available for the show in Prague.
