Having toured Japan four times in the past decade, Edguy will return to the Land of the Rising Sun just for one show October 16th/17th. At the prestigious Loud Park Festival at Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo, Edguy will share the stage with Ozzy Osbourne, Motörhead and others. Having a spectator capacity of 37,000 people at maximum settings, Saitama Super Arena is amongst the biggest indoor arenas worldwide. Edguy are looking forward to playing for their Japanese fans between "two regular tours":

"No matter if we play the USA, Australia, England or our hometown Fulda - there are always Japanese fans who travel around the world to see our shows. That's dedication! Of course it is an honour to us to come over to Japan and rock our Japanese friends and fans literally at their home!"

Many fans from Poland have been asking for years when the band will finally come to play Poland. During the last decade Edguy have played numerous shows and tours in more than 30 countries all over Europe, North America, South America, Australia and Asia. But the band has really never had the chance to meet their friends in Poland. What has been long overdue is finally going to happen.

On September 11th, Edguy will headline one night at Plock Cover Festival in the city of Plock. Edguy are looking forward to meeting all of their friends in Poland.

More dates have been added to the Scorpions’ farewell tour with Edguy as their special guest.  The package will come to the Arena in Nuremburg on November 25th and Westfalenhalle, Dortmund on November 27th.
 
Unfortunately there are bad news for the Recklinghausen show in June. Due to a strict curfew set by the city of Recklinghausen there will be no chance for a special guest, which means that Edguy will not perform with the Scorpions in Recklinghausen. Edguy wants to make clear that they are very sorry but have no other choice than to step back. It is not the Scorpions’ fault but policy of the city of Recklinghausen.

Even if you couldn't manage to get your ticket for Wacken Open Air 2010 you will have another chance to see Edguy live at an open air festival in Germany this summer. On the weekend July 8th-10th Edguy will headline Rockharz Festival at the airfield Ballenstedt.

This summer Edguy will be special guest of German Rock veterans Scorpions on the German leg of their farewell tour. Due to massive ticket sales for the first leg of the tour three more arena dates have been confirmed in Mannheim, Cologne and Hamburg. After having returned from a very successful UK-spring tour Edguy can confirm their return to England. On Saturday, August 14th Edguy will play the prestigious Bloodstock Open Air in Catton Hall, Derby.
